Your Support, Your Choice

'Your Support, Your Choice' have a centre which provides free information about what support is available to you. The service is provided by Care Network in partnership with Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council.

The service is located at 9a Town Hall Street, Blackburn (opposite Blackburn Central Library). The helpdesk team are available to support you between 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday (Thursdays until 3.30pm), and 10am - 2pm on alternate Saturdays.   You can also visit the team every Thursday morning 9am - 12.30pm at Darwen Town Hall for a one-to-one wellbeing consultation.

  • Staying independent
  • Home safety and maintenance
  • Self directed support and peer support
  • Positive mental health and stress management
  • What's on in your community
  • Health and social care guidance
  • Volunteering opportunities
  • Support for people with a disability
  • Support for people with long term health conditions
  • Employment support and job clubs
